Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) and the host Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), saw Americas's basketball squad overcome Parkland by a tally of 57-45.

With the victory, Americas improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Trail Blazers host Ysleta (El Paso, TX) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 16. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Ysleta won 71-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Irvin (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Matadors confront the Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 16. Parkland will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
