November 20, 2023: Maben, MS 39750 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) and the host East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS), saw West Union's basketball squad knock off East Webster by a count of 74-60.
With the victory, West Union upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 21. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. South Pontotoc won 50-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Ingomar (New Albany, MS)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 21. East Webster will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 50-43 non-league loss to South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS).
