In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored a close 74-68 triumph over the Concord Spiders.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Central Cabarrus nipped Concord (Concord, NC), 67-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spiders battle the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, November 22. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 71-65 non-league loss to Weddington (Matthews, NC).
