The Carson Cougars were victorious over the host Concord Spiders basketball squad by a final score of 76-56 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a South Piedmont 4A/5A game, on Friday, December 12. Carson will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Hornets go into the game with a 5-0 record after their 71-39 league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC).

With the loss, Concord falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Spiders travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to confront the Falcons in a South Piedmont 4A/5A game on Friday, December 12. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 4-3. West Rowan won 67-59 in their recent league game against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)
