November 21, 2023: Mocksville, NC 27028 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) and the visiting Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), saw Davie's basketball squad knock off Lexington by a count of 82-72.
With the victory, Davie upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The War Eagles travel to North Davidson (Lexington, NC) to play the Black Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. North Davidson won 76-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 22. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 74-44 non-league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
