East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), 60-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Davidson upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Davie (Mocksville, NC) to clash with the War Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The War Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-0. Davie won 61-44 in their recent non-league bout against West Davidson (Lexington, NC)
