The R-S Central Hilltoppers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Owen Warhorses to 50 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chesnee for a non-league contest on Monday, November 27.

The Warhorses (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Gryphons enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Thomas Jefferson was defeated by West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 87-83, in a non-league contest.
