Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) and the host Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC), saw R-S Central's basketball squad overcome Erwin by a tally of 62-53.

With the victory, R-S Central improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC) to confront the Bearcats in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills challenge on Friday, December 15. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Hendersonville won 65-50 in their recent non-league challenge against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)

Next up, the Warriors confront the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Erwin will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
