North Carolina High School Basketball - Triton holds off Western Harnett

November 21, 2023: Lillington, NC 27546

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) and the host Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), saw Triton's basketball squad hold off Western Harnett by a tally of 47-41.

With the victory, Triton improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. South Johnston lost 62-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Cleveland (Clayton, NC)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. Western Harnett will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 71-54 non-league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC).
