North Carolina High School Basketball - Covenant Day sneaks past Metrolina Christian Academy

The Covenant Day Lions basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors to 72 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. Covenant Day will play a Panthers team coming off a 46-31 non-league loss to Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Metrolina Christian Academy falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. The Knights go into the game with a record of 0-4. Charlotte Christian lost 53-25 in their recent non-league game against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)
