Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC), 44-17 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Metrolina Christian Academy advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Warriors host Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Knights enter the match with a record of 9-1. Lee Park Prep won 62-34 in their recent non-league match against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC)

The Thunder now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. South Charlotte will face a Knights squad coming off a 60-19 non-league loss to Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-6.
