November 21, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28216 The West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC), 50-26 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Sugar Creek Charter for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 30. West Charlotte will play a Wildcats team coming off a 52-46 non-league win over Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Palisades falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Pumas host Carolina International (Concord, NC) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 23. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Carolina International won 37-31 in their recent non-league bout against SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC)
