Illinois High School Basketball - Kaneland knocked off by McHenry
November 22, 2022: Maple Park, IL 60151 The McHenry Warriors basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Kaneland Knights to 61 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodstock for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 23. McHenry will meet a Blue Streaks team coming off a 57-47 non-league win over Cary-Grove (Cary, IL). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 1-1.
The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Prairie Ridge ran past Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL), 69-59, in a non-league contest.
