Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), 63-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Owen upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Warhorses travel to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to clash with the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Tuscola lost 93-72 in their recent non-league bout against Erwin (Asheville, NC)

Next up, the Titans clash with the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. McDowell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 78-45 non-league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC).
