The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN) and the host Crawfordsville Athenians (Crawfordsville, IN), observed Western Boone's basketball team overwhelm Crawfordsville by a score of 72-46.

The Stars (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sheridan (Sheridan, IN). The Blackhawks enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Sheridan was crushed by Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN), 42-29, in a non-league battle.

In their next game, the Athenians battle the Greencastle Tiger Cubs (Greencastle, IN) in a Monon contest, on Tuesday, November 25. Crawfordsville will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Tiger Cubs go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 35-33 league loss to North Putnam (Roachdale, IN).
