Illinois High School Basketball - West Aurora nips Fenwick
November 23, 2022: Oak Park, IL 60302 West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), 62-57 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, West Aurora upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Oswego East (Oswego, IL) to play the Wolves in a SouthWest Prairie bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Oswego East won 49-42 in their recent non-league bout against Naperville North (Naperville, IL)
Next up, the Friars play the Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 25. Fenwick will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Oswego East (Oswego, IL).
