November 24, 2023: Geneva, IL 60134 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) and the visiting Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL), saw Geneva's basketball squad hold off Downers Grove South by a tally of 58-53.
With the victory, Geneva improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host St. Francis (Wheaton, IL) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 25. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 25. Downers Grove South will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 65-54 non-league loss to St. Francis (Wheaton, IL).
