The Alleghany Trojans basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting North Wilkes Vikings to 42 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Surry Central for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Alleghany will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 77-55 non-league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
