Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats (Washburn, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), 65-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lowpoint-Washburn upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to DePue (DePue, IL) to play the Little Giants in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 29. The Little Giants go into the bout with a record of 2-3. DePue lost 59-27 in their recent non-league bout against Woodland (Streator, IL)

Next up, the Knights play the Donovan Wildcats (Donovan, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 59-54 league loss to St. Anne (St. Anne, IL).
