Iowa High School Basketball - Moravia crushes Tri-County
November 27, 2023: Moravia, IA 52571 Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tri-County Trojans (Thornburg, IA), 69-19 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Moravia upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mohawks host Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA) to clash with the Saints in a Bluegrass bout on Friday, December 1. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Melcher-Dallas lost 71-31 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA)
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Tri-County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
