Iowa High School Basketball - Twin Cedars ripped by Moravia
January 5, 2024: Moravia, IA 52571 The Moravia Mohawks basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers to 25 in the Mohawks league triumph on Friday.
The Mohawks now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centerville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Moravia will meet a Big Reds/Redettes team coming off a 75-50 non-league loss to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Big Reds/Redettes record now stands at 5-4.
The Sabers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Murray (Murray, IA). The Mustangs enter the Bluegrass contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Murray triumphed over East Union (Afton, IA), 65-35, in a non-league contest.
