January 27, 2024: Garden Grove, IA 50103 In Saturday's league outing, the Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) basketball squad nipped the host Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA), by a margin of 69-66.
The Mohawks (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Montezuma got by Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA), 50-20, in a league outing.
The Saints now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league outing on Monday, January 29. Mormon Trail will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 58-56 league loss to Southwest Valley (Corning, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-8.
