Iowa High School Basketball - Mormon Trail topples Twin Cedars
February 1, 2024: Bussey, IA 50044 In Thursday's league outing, the Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA) basketball squad beat the host Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), by a margin of 63-45.
The Saints (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Mohawks go into the Bluegrass outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Moravia was topped by WACO (Wayland, IA), 70-64, in a non-league outing.
The Sabers now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Saydel for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1. Twin Cedars will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 53-46 league loss to South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-8.
