Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA) and the visiting Tri-County Trojans (Thornburg, IA), saw Belle Plaine's basketball squad wallop Tri-County by a count of 72-31.

With the victory, Belle Plaine upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Plainsmen host English Valleys (North English, IA) to play the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Friday, December 1. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
