Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) and the host Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC), saw South Mecklenburg's basketball squad overcome Cuthbertson by a tally of 62-46.

With the victory, South Mecklenburg improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Sabres travel to Independence (Charlotte, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Independence won 76-62 in their recent non-league test against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)

The Cavaliers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host West Mecklenburg for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Cuthbertson will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 65-58 non-league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
