The Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) basketball felled the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), 70-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Patriots (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Red Tornadoes go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Hickory thwarted Newton-Conover (Newton, NC), 78-76, in a non-league test.
