The Freedom Patriots basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Draughn Wildcats to 60 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chase for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 26. Freedom will meet a Trojans team coming off a 81-39 non-league loss to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-7.

The Wildcats (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, North Cross ran past Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA), 83-37, in a non-league contest.
