Game Story

North Carolina High School Basketball - West Charlotte falls to Independence

November 28, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28227

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Independence Patriots basketball team scored a good 76-62 triumph over the West Charlotte Lions.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, November 30. Independence will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Sabres enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 62-46 non-league win over Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).

With the defeat, West Charlotte moves to 1-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Garinger (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, December 1. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-4. Garinger lost 71-31 in their recent non-league match against Harding University (Charlotte, NC)
