November 28, 2023: Springville, UT 84663 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pinnacle Panthers (Price, UT) and the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), saw Pinnacle's basketball squad hold off Merit Preparatory Academy by a count of 66-64.
With the victory, Pinnacle upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Tintic (Eureka, UT) to play the Miners in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Tintic lost 61-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Piute (Junction, UT)
Next up, the Knights play the American Leadership Academy Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. Merit Preparatory Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 98-66 league loss to American Heritage (American Fork, UT).
