The Merit Preparatory Academy Knights basketball team (Springville, UT), was toppled 54-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Pinnacle Panthers (Price, UT)

The Panthers now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piute for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 20. Pinnacle will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 82-73 non-league win over Grand County (Moab, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 6-1.

The Knights (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Union (Roosevelt, UT). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Union was toppled by Providence Hall (Herriman, UT), 55-43, in a non-league battle.
