November 28, 2023: Remsen, IA 51050 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Mary's Hawks (Remsen, IA) and the visiting West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA), saw St. Mary's's basketball squad wallop West Sioux by a tally of 67-28.
With the victory, St. Mary's improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA) to confront the Westerners in a War Eagle challenge on Friday, December 1. The Westerners come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Akron-Westfield lost 58-35 in their recent league challenge against South O'Brien (Paullina, IA)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Harris-Lake Park Wolves (Lake Park, IA) in a War Eagle test, on Friday, December 1. West Sioux will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 59-53 league loss to Trinity Christian (Hull, IA).
