Missouri High School Basketball - Central ripped by Kennett
November 28, 2023: Cape Girardeau, MO 63703 The Kennett Indians basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Central Tigers to 35 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Senath-Hornersville for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Kennett will meet a Lions team coming off a 64-44 league loss to South Pemiscot (Steele, MO). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Poplar Bluff (Poplar Bluff, MO). The Mules enter the Southeast Missouri contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Poplar Bluff triumphed over New Madrid County Central (New Madrid, MO), 62-37, in a league contest.
