Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Madrid County Central Eagles (New Madrid, MO), 84-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Kennett upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Indians host Kelly (Benton, MO) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Kelly won 87-51 in their recent non-league bout against Cairo (Cairo, IL)

Next up, the Eagles play the Sikeston Bulldogs (Sikeston, MO) in a Southeast Missouri game, on Monday, January 8. New Madrid County Central will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record.
