The Union Pines Vikings basketball team (Cameron, NC), was nudged 53-48 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC)

The Timberwolves now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, December 1. Montgomery Central will battle a Cougars team coming off a 50-33 non-league loss to Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-4.
