Virginia High School Basketball - Great Bridge knocked off by Tallwood

The Tallwood Lions basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Great Bridge Wildcats to 54 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bayside for a Beach contest on Friday, December 2. Tallwood will meet a Marlins team coming off a 72-56 non-league loss to Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA). The Marlins record now stands at 1-1.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves enter the Southeastern contest with a 0-0 record.
