The Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI) basketball nipped the host Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI), 41-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Modeltowners (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI). The Mountaineers go into the Mid-Peninsula test with a 0-1 record.
