The Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Anson Bearcats to 33 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ the King for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2.

The Bearcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, South Stanly ran past North Moore (Robbins, NC), 71-70, in a non-league contest.
