Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA), 51-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Richland advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Rams travel to Forest Hills (Sidman, PA) to meet the Rangers in a Laurel Highlands match on Tuesday, December 3. The Rangers enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Ramblers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Star for a Inter County - West match on Friday, December 6.
