The Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA) basketball were winner over the visiting Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA), 85-68 in Friday's league bout.

The Hilltoppers now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Turkeyfoot Valley Area for a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. Westmont Hilltop will play a Rams team coming off a 81-43 non-league win over Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA). The Rams record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Richland falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA) to play the Eagles in a Laurel Highlands bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Bald Eagle Area won 57-34 in their recent non-league bout against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA)
