In Monday's league contest, the visiting Chestnut Ridge Lions basketball team scored a good 72-56 triumph over the Richland Rams.

The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA). The Trojans go into the Laurel Highlands contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Greater Johnstown topped Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA), 63-24, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams confront the Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA) in a Laurel Highlands contest, on Thursday, December 19. Richland will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Bisons go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 59-34 league loss to Forest Hills (Sidman, PA).
