In Friday's league contest, the visiting Chestnut Ridge Lions basketball team scored a good 69-56 win over the Bedford Bisons.

The Lions (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Rams come into the Laurel Highlands contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Richland defeated Somerset (Somerset, PA), 75-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bisons battle the Forest Hills Rangers (Sidman, PA) in a Laurel Highlands contest, on Monday, February 10. Bedford will attempt to better on its 3-16 season record. The Rangers come into the contest with a 19-1 record after their 79-47 league win over Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA).
