In Monday's league test, the Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA), by a score of 68-55.

Next, the Lions encounter the Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands test, on Wednesday, January 15. Chestnut Ridge will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Red Devils come into the test with a 7-5 record after their 62-56 league win over Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA).
