In Wednesday's league test, the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) basketball squad trounced the host Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA), by a final score of 81-46.

Next, the Crushers clash with the Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) in a Laurel Highlands test, on Monday, January 13. Bishop McCort will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 7-4 record after their 71-54 league loss to Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA).

The Eagles (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA). The Trojans come into the Laurel Highlands test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, Greater Johnstown bounced Richland (Johnstown, PA), 84-42, in a league test.
