The Bishop McCort Crushers basketball squad (Johnstown, PA), was nudged 68-63 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA)

With the victory, Westmont Hilltop advances its record to 14-2 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Clearfield (Clearfield, PA) to meet the Bison in a Laurel Highlands battle on Monday, January 27. The Bison enter the battle with a record of 9-5. Clearfield won 43-40 in their recent league battle against Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA)

The Crushers now own a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chestnut Ridge for a Laurel Highlands battle on Monday, January 27. Bishop McCort will meet a Lions squad coming off a 78-54 league loss to Forest Hills (Sidman, PA). The Lions record now stands at 10-6.
