Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bishop McCort thwarts Bellefonte
January 4, 2025: Johnstown, PA 15905 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) and the visiting Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA), observed Bishop McCort's basketball team knock off Bellefonte by a score of 61-49.
The Crushers (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Red Devils come into the Laurel Highlands challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Central Cambria prevailed over Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA), 94-73, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Monday, January 6. Bellefonte will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 78-39 league win over Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA).
