In Friday's league test, the Forest Hills Rangers (Sidman, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA), by a final score of 78-54.

Next, the Rangers clash with the Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands test, on Wednesday, January 29. Forest Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 15-1 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 6-9 record after their 87-64 league loss to Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA).

The Lions (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA). The Crushers come into the Laurel Highlands test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Bishop McCort was overwhelmed by Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA), 68-63, in a league test.
