Arkansas High School Basketball - Izard County tipped by Quitman
November 30, 2022: Brockwell, AR 72517 The Quitman Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Izard County Cougars to 58 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall for a 2A Region 2 contest on Saturday, December 3. Quitman will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 59-54 league win over Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-1.
Next up, the Cougars play the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) in a 2A Region 2 bout, on Saturday, December 3. Izard County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 59-54 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, AR).
