Arkansas High School Basketball - South Side fells Quitman
December 9, 2022: Quitman, AR 72131 South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR), 71-55 in a league bout.
With the win, South Side upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Hornet travel to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR) to clash with the Timberwolves in a 2A Region 2 bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Cedar Ridge lost 72-69 in their recent league bout against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) in a 2A Region 2 bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Quitman will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 72-69 league win over Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR).
