South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR), 59-52 in a league bout.

With the win, South Side upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Hornet host White County Central (Judsonia, AR) to clash with the Bears in a 2A Region 2 bout on Friday, December 2. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-6. White County Central lost 66-36 in their recent league bout against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR)

Next up, the Warhawks clash with the White County Central Bears (Judsonia, AR) in a 2A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Mt. Vernon-Enola will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
