Mississippi High School Basketball - Leake County can't hold off West Lauderdale
November 30, 2023: Walnut Grove, MS 39189 The Leake County Gators basketball team (Walnut Grove, MS), was nudged 65-59 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS)
The Knights now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scott Central for a non-league battle on Friday, December 1. West Lauderdale will battle a Rebels team coming off a 69-22 non-league win over French Camp Academy (French Camp, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 1-1.
The Gators (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS). The Chiefs come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Pelahatchie edged McLaurin (Florence, MS), 50-32, in a non-league battle.
